The 24 Classic is ideally suited for the heart of the La Trucha experience—chasing trophy speckled trout across the shallow flats of the Lower Laguna Madre.
Its flush-deck layout provides an open, uncluttered fishing platform while the Shallow Sport hull allows anglers to access the shallow water where big trout live.

The 28' Shallow Sport X3 — The Nearshore Boat 28' X3 :
When the trip calls for more range, room and capability, the 28 X3 becomes the lodge's nearshore platform. It's designed to take guests beyond the protected flats and into the nearshore Gulf environment, giving Wild Hides Africa & La Trucha Lodge the ability to offer a broader South Texas fishing experience.
That means we can take guests from:
Skinny-water trophy trout → Lower Laguna Madre → passes → nearshore Gulf fishing.
